New Story: "Gold In the Mud" About Boxer James Scott's Pipe Dream

New story at SBnation that was a doozy to knock off but hopefully worth the read. Easily one of the most bizarre, compelling story I've heard from the world of boxing in my life. James Scott fought from jail on HBO, CBS, and NBC against the world's best fighters and nearly fought his way not only to a championship from behind maximum security walls but got closer than anyone imagined to getting out of jail too, despite another few decades worth of time remaining on his sentence for armed robbery and later murder. The link to the story is below:

Hi Brin!

A couple days ago I had been doing my daily routine as reading the news on fightnews.com when I saw on „Boxing Buzz” an article about James Scott. I did click, so I found myself on sbnation.com. I read the article, it was a great one, and then I saw this „About the Author” stuff. That was the first time I read something from you, and of course I checked the biography of Rigondeaux on amazon.com. At the same time I started to do some research of you, I found this „Michael Kimball Writes Your Life Story (on a postcard)” series and the episode of your life. The first sentence gave me a jab right to the nose… Your mother is from Budapest. I mean, I am a Hungarian.
I also love to read, and I am a former amateur boxer. I love to write about boxing, I usually send articles to the most recognised Hungarian boxing site. My goal is to speak english good enough to publish my stories on national boxing sites.
I am looking forward to read the biography of Guillermo Rigondeaux. Will you publish a phisical book also, or just the e-book?
I am curious. Do you speak Hungarian a bit? Have you ever been in Hungary? Does your mother keep in touch with her Hungarian relatives?
I am so happy I found your articles about boxing. It would be an honor for me to split thoughts with you about our loved sport, about Cuba (and of course, Hungary, if you are interested).
I am looking forward to your reply. (I could not find your email address, that's why I chose to post a comment here. My address is pradaricst@yahoo.com.)
